Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I always thought that I like beets, but I guess I've mostly eaten pickled beets. This was okay, but very earthy, even though the amount of beets I used was shy of 1 pound. I think I'll just stick to including beets in salads. The dollop of sour cream does help though.
