    Despite forgetting to add the tomato paste, this came out pretty decent. A little too sweet for my tastes. Not sure if that was because of the sugar in the recipe or using a hefeweizen for the beer. Definitely a fun recipe as a starting point to develop your own herby Italian quick-bread. It was really good next day toasted and slathered with homemade onion dip and smashed avocado.
