    I didn’t have a big enough mortar and pestle, so I did everything up through tomatoes in the small one, and then put that with the green beans in a gallon bag and pounded with a rolling pin — worked pretty well! I also used a single Serrano because my kids have limited spice tolerance and while I wish it had been spicier, there’s enough flavor to make it work even without as much spice.
