    It tastes great but I didn't get the custardy element of the liquid but I soaked for longer than a hour and once baked it turned out fine though not as tender as I would like. I also added raisins because what is bread pudding without raisins?

    This came out too wet and eggy for my taste. Usually Dorie's recipes are great. Not sure what happened here.
