Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This is not the type of cake I usually choose but I was baking for someone looking for a simple birthday cake. I won’t choose this recipe again. The cake is underwhelming and the buttercream is far too sweet. There are much better recipes out there!

    Great as a base for decorated birthday cakes - firm enough to hold large quantities of icing and lollies, but still tastes good.
