Individual plum clafoutis from Ottolenghi: The Cookbook (page 263) by Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi

  • double cream
  • vanilla beans
  • plums
  • store-cupboard ingredients

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

I often make clafoutis during the summer months with whatever fruit I have on hand. I used nectarines for this recipe, and it did not disappoint. The creamy vanilla speckled (I used paste not a bean) warm custard is hiding another layer of nectarine underneath.
