Chicken drumsticks and wings with orange-tomato sauce from Apples for Jam: A Colorful Cookbook (page 81) by Tessa Kiros

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

A family favourite. We affectionately call it sticky chicken. in a largish oven dish (ca. 30 cm x 25 cm) not too high on the sides so the chicken can brown, I find 1.2 kg chicken and double the quantity of sauce is a good ratio. we often cook it for longer than the recipe: you need to cook it until the sauce starts to get thick and clings to the chicken pieces then make sure they brown on both sides, but leave enough sauce to serve with rice. We serve with vegetable (e.g. bean, capsicum, onion, corn, onion, garlic) or salad (e.g. finely sliced fennel and orange segments..). You can also make three of four times the quantity of sauce and freeze.
