    These were delicious served as a side with soup for dinner. My piece of puff pastry was smaller than called for - I got 2 x 6" rounds and then 2 x 3" rounds. The method of cooking the puff pastry bases between pieces of parchment & 2 sheet pans worked great and the idea is that you can then approximate the amt of toppings you want. I did make her version of pesto (same book) and then I chose to run the finished tarts under the broiler as suggested. What a lovely way to treat ourselves with tomatoes & basil from the garden.
