Fresh orange pork tenderloin from Around My French Table: More Than 300 Recipes from My Home to Yours (page 273) by Dorie Greenspan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

My thoughts are similar to the other comments. Something is missing - a bit of paprika or chili ?? garlic??

Quick and easy. My wife really liked it. I thought it was fine but not worth a repeat.

1 star out of 5 unfortunately. I cooked this first then wondered what other had to say. Do Not Do This Recipe. Most likely one of the worst pork tenderloin recipes I’ve done. I even had the cardamon seed pods in the spice rack. Too bad, she has tons of stellar recipes in her book.

Nothing very interesting about this. The orange, even with the zest, ends up being a little flat and the pork and cardamom are an ok combination but not enough to lift the dish.

    p. 273 -The most time-consuming element in the preparation of this dish it the supreming of two oranges. Unfortunately someone must have stolen my cardamom pods because there were none to be found in my pantry. Ok, so maybe I forgot to replenish my stock when I finished them off the last time. Luckily I did have some ground cardamom that I picked up a couple of weeks ago so that had to suffice tonight. Not sure how much that impacted the outcome of this dish but it was just alright for us. Very, very orangey w a hint of cardamom . . . a little too one note for my taste though K said he was ok with it and would eat it again. Pity, because I won’t be making it. This just didn’t do it for me. Photos here: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/775862#6464227
