    Satisfying simple recipe. Works great in a crock pot. I cooked it for 5 hours. I modified the recipe: Did not brown the meat, since the ground beef I buy isn't loaded with water. Skipped the carrots. Added extra garlic. Browned the onion and the garlic. Added a bay leaf Added about a Tablespoon of Beef Bouillon [Better Than Bouillon brand] Added Italian seasoning. Served it over baked spaghetti squash and mixed in a couple of spoons of cottage cheese for each serving.
