    Added 3 cups Sweet Vermouth to one cup red wine; all I had. Mitt of fresh thyme & rosemary to bouquet garni. Subbed r. current jelly with cherry jam. Added green peas. Hearty! Use this for stew recipe going forward. c.1981 3rd Ed.
