Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I'm a chocolate chip cookie fanatic; we served them at my wedding. This is my go-to chocolate chip recipe, dethroning Alton Brown's Chewy. The browned butter creates a terrific caramel-like flavor that sets these cookies apart. I use Callebaut 811 dark chocolate callets instead of chips, CI's recommendation to the contrary be damned.
