  • sirloin steaks

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Notes about this recipe

The other day, hubby came home with two beautiful sirloin steaks and suggested to have them with green peppercorn sauce. I have made this sauce in the past, but for some reason, I enjoyed the taste of the sauce, but not the peppercorns. I looked for a recipe in my cookbooks and found this one. It was delicious!! I think the trick to it was frying the peppercorns with garlic for about 30 seconds. They became crunchy and very palatable. Served the steak with mash potatoes and green beans. A delicious combination. Lovely meal.
