Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Very good. I liked the steaming of the beets in this preparation. I had more beets than the recipe called for and it took about 40 minutes to steam them. Because I had more beets, I used 4 cups of reduced sodium beef broth (instead of two cups) and that was perfect. After cooling The beets, the remainder of the soup was fairly quick cooking. The sour cream and horseradish topping added complexity and enhanced the flavor of the soup quite a bit. Good enough to repeat.
