    This turned out well and easy to make. I had some caramelized onions in the freezer and used those instead of shallots. Solid recipe. 5 stars.

    Delicious! I really enjoyed this, a very bright and flavorful dish for deep winter. I had it over arugula, would also be great with pearl couscous or farro.

    Thankfully, this Chickpea Piccata did not disappoint. It had the perfect blend of flavours, with a not-too-tart lemon-caper-shallot sauce overtop braised chickpeas.
