    Leaf lettuce froze in my fridge this week. I remember my maternal grandmother telling me years ago that I could use frozen lettuce in soup like the French do. Jacques Pepin’s recipe is easy and very good! I served it with spinach quiche and Sherry-Glazed Parsnips with Pomegranate (Cooking Light, January/February 2018).
