    Can sub onion and garlic powder for granulated onion and garlic. Can sub linguine for spaghetti. Can add TSP or TVP granules or crumbled Soy Curls. Bouillon should be chicken-style. Can add dried or fresh dill.

    Excellent sick person soup. Very like the Campbell's soups of my childhood. I think it's flavor is better than Amy's No Chicken Noodle. Prep is more complicated than opening a can but still pretty simple: cut up 3 veggies, throw those in soup pot with noodles and flavorings, and simmer. I would finely chop the celery. It was still crunchy when everything else was tender, and, sure enough, the patient left all the celery at the bottom of his bowl uneaten.
