Can substitute quartered whole chicken for chicken Marylands, and Vietnamese mint leaves for mint and basil.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Made this recipe again and this time I served it next to some ginger quinoa, a recipe from Donna Hay and broccolini with chilli from Bill Granger. It was a really good combination!!

Yesterday I made my first recipe from Annabel's cookbook and I have to say that it was easy and delicious. I am not a fan of sweet and sour recipes, but in this particular one, the flavour was so delicious and subtle that it was enjoyed by all. The recipe suggests to have some rice and green veggies on the side, so I cooked some broccolini and made my adaptation to the Ottolenghi's recipe that I have cooked now many, many times and it's just delicious. I make a coconut rice using jasmine rice instead of sticky rice, but what really makes it are the crispy ingredients..... sooo yummy!
