    The Danesco Krisk bean slicer on Amazon actually works for frenching beans, although it's still a pain in the neck.

    We both liked this and it was fairly easy, but frenching the green beans was a pain.

    This came together super quickly and was really satisfying. Couldn’t get ramen noodles but used udon and doubled the amount to make it a bit more hearty
