Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    These really lived up to their name. My family absolutely swooned over them. I made them the day before, but after over 8 hours in the fridge they didn't rise at all. The directions say to take them out of the fridge one hour before baking, but I gave them 2 1/2 hours at room temperature and they began to rise before baking. The dough was very easy to handle and roll. I thought there was a little too much frosting, but no one else complained.
