    These are excellent. I did have to sub buttermilk for the small amount of cream in the filling, and the filling also required probably another 6 or 8 spoonfuls of powdered sugar to achieve a thick enough filling. Other than that the recipe worked beautifully and looked great, too. Definitely use a measured scoop to divide the dough because it makes piecing the sandwiches together later easy. I used a Tbsp measure and got 19 sandwich cookies
