Tuscan beans baked with tuna and lemon (Fagioli stufati) from The Best of Bugialli (page 99) by Giuliano Bugialli

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

A delicious way to keep the kitchen warm in Winter. A Saturday afternoon cook, this wet, windy and cold weekend.

We first cooked this dish (without the tuna, as #vegetarian) in 2007 and have made it most Winters since. Even on cooler days in other seasons it is likely to go into the oven. It is a true classic that can be served on its own to delight in the flavours, or as part of a larger meal.
