    An excellent recipe for summer. I've made this every summer since it was published in 1990 and no one has been able to quess that it is made with buttermilk.

    I would never have been brave enough to try this recipe if it had not been listed as a favorite dessert by someone on Chowhound. Yes, indeed it is wonderful. The tartness of the buttermilk enhances the sweetness of the blueberries. I always serve it chilled and shiver at the thought of serving it otherwise.
