    This makes a really creamy and delicious corn chowder. The fresh corn in combo with the creamed corn is lovely. I had added minced garlic in with the onions before I realized it wasn't actually part of the recipe - habit I guess! I also added some chopped Peppadew hot peppers for a pop of red and some extra heat. A definite repeat.

    Very, very good -- followed the recipe exactly and was delighted with the depth of flavor given it was so quick and easy. Spicy enough to please those looking for a bit of a kick without being overwhelming.
