Recipe suggests using up to three of the following seasonings in any combination: cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, peppercorns, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, coriander seeds, cilantro, curry leaves, mint, Italian parsley, bay leaves, orange zest with ginger, lemon or lime zest with jalapeño chilies, and/or grated coconut with dried crushed chilies.
