Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Managed to lose most of the peppercorns in the pan, so lost a fair bit of flavour there. The sauce is also quite ‘heavy’, meaning that the mild-tasting baby spinach didn’t add anything to the dish. Maybe a more robust flavoured veg might work better.
