Obi wonton Kenobi: simple Chinese soup with chicken-filled wontons from Crazy Plates: Low-Fat Food So Good, You'll Swear It's Bad for You by Janet Podleski and Greta Podleski

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute ground turkey for chicken.

A family favourite! I usually double the chicken filling, fill all 60 or so wrappers that come in a package and freeze them in a single layer on a cookie sheet before transferring them to freezer bags. With a stash of these in the freezer, the soup takes just minutes to make. I use a cornstarch-water slurry to help seal the wontons.
