    These waffles are sublime! Perfect for holiday mornings and/or entertaining overnight guests - you make the batter the night before, and in the morning you just heat your waffle iron, give the batter a stir, and start baking them. For my (round, Belgian style) iron, one batch of batter yields 4-5 waffles, so you might as well go ahead and double the recipe if you’ll be feeding a crowd. NB: this is pretty much identical to the yeasted waffles recipe on Once Upon A Chef.
