    Can substitute dry sherry for Chinese rice wine.

    Made several times over the years. Vegetable flex. Toast the walnuts separately and present as an optional topper. The sauce is flex except use hoisin sauce for sure. I add 1/3 ish cup water and 1 tablespoon cornstarch to the sauce, and substitute rice vinegar for the rice wine or sherry.
