Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    This is a very mild flavoured curried Scandinavian meatball recipe which makes lots. Since I am cooking for two, it makes a meal the day I make them, and 3 freezer packs for future use. They are good with plain rice or mashed potatoes. I hadn’t made them in years but they used to be a family favourite when I was cooking for more people. I made a resolution to cook more from my cookbooks this year than trying every new thing that comes along. I was so happy to be reacquainted with this beautiful cookbook that has sat abandoned for so long. I have ear marked lots of old favourites and some new ones to try. I highly recommend this book for people who are interested in Scandinavian cooking.
