Is there such a thing as a stovetop indoor grill with a lid?

Not only do I live in an apartment, but my kitchen is small and doesn't have enough counter space for a big electric appliance.

Could try looking at this site .. but they're all really "sit on bench" types, not stove top... (click the hyperlink)

Thanks, debkellie, but as I explained in my original post, when I say stovetop, I mean stovetop, not countertop. Countertop appliances will do me no good.

Could try improvising with cast iron plate / pan (relatively inexpensive at camping stores) with a saucepan over the top!!!

Will a saucepan provide a snug fit?

I have found a few grill pans with lids on Amazon, but I'm told on one page that if you cover the pan with the lid, the food gets steamed rather than indirect-heat-grilled. So it's back to the old drawing board for me. There is a page on how to grill bone-in chicken indoors, and I suppose I'll have to try it even though it looks complicated. It would mean clearing the space in front of the stove's broiler drawer :(

I'll get the link when I'm less overwhelmed.
