Having issues with slowness of loading different EYB sections this morning.  I am using Safari.  Other web pages loading without problems.  

ALL parts of Eatyourbooks.com has been slow for me for several days now. It takes forever for every page to load. And today I was not able to use Firefox to log into eatyourbooks at all because Firefox is claiming that a HTTPS version of eatyourbooks.com is not available or an attacker is involved (I used enhanced security settings on firefox).  I got in using Chrome, but the site is extremely slow in Chrome too. It's not my internet connection because all other sites I visit are working and responding fine. 

I am having similar issues. The site is almost unusable. I hope it is fixed soon. At a minimum, there should be a note on the landing page indicating that there is a problem and the site is working to fix it. 

It is definitely faster now.  

We have been having a lot of issues with SEO bots (Google, etc) doing hundreds of thousands of requests. This seriously slows down the functioning of the site. Our developers have been working on fixes and the site is definitely functioning much better now. We are looking at other ways to reduce the effect of SEO bots.
