Once I've "done" a "Do later", how do I remove the flag?

Go to the list of "do laters". At the upper right corner of every recipe there's a cross you can click to remove from the "do laters".
It took me a while to find them as well.

I gather 'Quick reply" only goes to you personally whereas "Post a reply" goes to the forum.

I think "Quick replies" go to the forum as well.
