I can't find the book The Camp Dutch Oven Cookbook by Robin Donovan in the library to add to my cookbooks. I have Kindle version.

vickster, I've added both the paperback and ebook editions of The Camp Dutch Oven Cookbook to the Library.

Hi Deborah, I've requested the same book a couple of times now but not appeared yet. Is this a bug or is there just a bit of a backlog at the moment? I'm probably just being a bit impatient but wanted to add some notes before I forgot. The book is by Kate Harrison "5:2 veggie & vegan" ISBN 1409171264
Thanks!
Hannah

I have been waiting for that book by Kate Harrison too. I put the recipes I was interested in , into my personal recipes so I cannot forget them.

I have also tried adding a cookbook a few times through the "import books" feature, and it hasn't shown up yet. It's available on Amazon. "Cassoulet, A French Obsession" by Kate Hill 978-0692773390 I bought it last November and tried back then. Last month I realized it never showed up and I have tried a couple of times since, but it's still a no-show..

Hannaha100 and Cati -- I've just imported 5:2 Veggie and Vegan; sorry for the delay. The issue seems to be that our Import Books feature doesn't know how to deal with the colon in books starting with "5:2" (since we use a colon to separate titles from subtitles) and kicks them out!

anightowl, I also imported Cassoulet; it was in limbo because the title didn't import for some reason.

Thank you Deborah! :)

How funny that we were trying the same one @Cati - I was thinking it was probably quite niche! Thanks Deborah that's great ☺️

Hi Hannaha, I don't imagine it will appear on many bookshelves, but it is nice to see it listed . Thanks Deborah. It is a plain little book, but seems to have some interesting recipes. The Roasted Cauliflower Steak uses an approach which I have only seen before in a recipe by Luke Mangan in Delicious magazine July 2013 page 30, which cuts slabs of cauliflower, rather than just using florets. I find it is more succulent than roasted florets. Others that interested me were on pages 68, 135, 211, 223, 256, and 268. Will be interested in your notes.

Cati, funny you should mention cauliflower slabs -- my husband recently discovered this method and has gone crazy with it! We have roasted cauliflower "steaks" at least once a week these days.

Deborah, I tried to import a book back in January that never got into the library, perhaps the system did not like the comma in the title. It is Get Lean, Stay Lean by Dr Joanna McMillan ISBN 9781743368480. Glad you found Roasted cauliflower "steaks", maybe they will become the next big thing. They may even gain as much comment as "Smashed avocado" has in our Australian press!

The issue with books not being added after the ISBN has been imported in Import Books (explained here in Help) is often that Amazon (where we import the book data from) did not have a food or drink tag on the book. We had to add that filter for imports as we had members importing their entire book catalogs from sites such as Goodreads and LibraryThing and we did not want all the non-food and drink titles appearing in the EYB Library.

There are genuine food and drink books that have erroneously not been tagged by Amazon so are sitting in limbo, plus there are older titles or non-English titles that cannot be added as Amazon does not list them. If you ever are desperate for a title to be added to your Bookshelf, just email us (or post here) with the ISBN number and we will try to add it for you.

Cati - the book you mention, Get Lean, Stay Lean by Dr Joanna McMillan is now in the EYB Library and on your Bookshelf.

That is good to know as I've sort of given up trying to import some Japanese books here.  The last 4-6 have not been imported.  I buy my books from Amazon Japan with the ISBNs.  I was trying to add so tht I can keep notes of what recipes to make because I needed a place to tag the recipes  for me.

The last two that I added yesterday showed up!  Yeah!!!

Thank you Jane. I need to stop buying odd books and do more cooking!

The cauliflower steaks sound good Cati, I might have to try next week - I love the idea of the pine nuts! I've made cauliflower steaks before using a recipe by Aine Carlin from "The New Vegan" with jerk-style seasoning, which I highly recommend. Other than the spices, the main difference seems to be that Aine recommends a slightly shorter roasting time followed by final searing in griddle pan. I'll have to try both methods and report back!

Also, thanks Jane, it's good to know how it all works!

Thanks Deborah and Jane. Can you also please add 9781925481488 The CSIRO Low-carb diet? I've tried submitting it through import books, but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks.

j_h -- Done! Here it is: The CSIRO Low-Carb Diet. You'll have to add it your Bookshelf manually since it wouldn't Import.

Hi Jane and Deborah, could you please add 9781742458199 2-Day Superdiet by Australian Women's Weekly? Sorry, but it's another one that's not on Amazon. Cheers, j_h

j_h, you can now find the AWW 2-Day Super Diet book here in the EYB Library/Books.
