When a cookbook has not been indexed, people often add recipe notes to the book. I have been going back and moving some of these to the recipe by

  1. Add a note to the recipe

  2. Copy the text from the book note to the recipe note

  3. Delete the cookbook note

However, this makes it look like there is a new note and can fill the list of notes quite quickly.  It would be useful to have a function that would make the note move to the recipe but not appear as a new recipe.

The other significant function I would like is being able to add books that do not have an ISBN. I know this is being considered so think of this as a little reminder that it matters to some of us who either are older or stocked our collection at estate sales and used bookstores.

Patiently waiting for us to add books without ISBN too.  I have many books I would like to add.

mjes - I'm not clear why you don't want it appearing as a new note. Is it that you are worried your notes being copied over are dominating the new notes appearing at the top of the Notes tab? I wouldn't worry about that - there are between 50 and 75 new Notes added every day so unless you have hundreds of Notes to transfer from books to now indexed recipes (do you?) it shouldn't be a problem.

mjes & Rinshin - we really do hope to add the feature soon that will allow members to add their own cookbook data for books for which the data did not import from Amazon or do not have an ISBN so they cannot be imported.

Exactly, but I am unlikely to have more than 10-15 in a single day so I'll just not worry about it. Thanks.
