I have way too many recipes that I would like to make that it's extremely impractical to put them all under one bookmark. Instead, I have 1536 recipes in 66 bookmarks divided up by dish types (appetizers, salads, desserts, etc), and by season (just to try to sort them a bit better). When I get a new cookbook (or see a new online recipe I want to try), I place the recipes I want to try in the corresponding bookmark. It makes it much easier to find appropriate recipes if, say, I have company coming over for a cookout and I want to serve a cocktail, an appetizer, a salad or vegetable side, a meat, and a dessert - I can go to the Summer bookmarks and check out what's in the corresponding categories. Big caveat is that some recipes don't easily fall into any particular season.

For me, the "I want to cook this" bookmark means: I want to cook this... someday. I made another bookmark for "Cook this month", which includes my menu planning for the current month. (This also helps my grocery shopping planning.) I currently have an additional bookmark for "Parents weekend", which includes all the recipes I am planning to make when my parents visit in July. Everything in the "Cook this month" & "Parents weekend" bookmarks is also bookmarked for "I want to cook this." 

I also find it helpful display all the "I want to cook this" recipes, and then use relevant EYB filters or searches. -- So I type rhubarb in the search box, and then apply the "I want to cook this" bookmark. Or combine the "I want to cook this" bookmark with the filter for "Pies, tarts, & pastries", for example.

I also have lots and lots of bookmarks.  When the "I want to make this" became available, I started putting everything in there (in addition to the other bookmarks it gets) so I could search it. I have over 200 categories...I grow a lot of veg and fruit so I have a categories for each of these so I can search when I have a glut of eggplants, asparagus, peppers, heirloom tomatoes, etc.

I wish we could search all our bookmarks since that would make finding recipes so much easier.
