I'm a visual person and always take photos of new recipes.  It's a great way for me to remember some of the memorable recipes I've made and always want to repeat.


 


It would be wonderful if we could post photos with notes like other sites.  I review many recipes and I enjoy the words together with photos.  I miss seeing the photos on this site.

Hi Rinshin - you've uploaded photos previously in your posts .. how did you do it? I can't work it out ...

I agree with Rinshin because sometimes where a cookbook does not have a photo it would be great to see a member photo when you are looking at a recipe you are thinking about making. Sometimes a photo will convince me to try a recipe that I might otherwise skip.

We have already started planning this feature - we'll keep you updated when it will launch.

My first foray into adding photos worked today using Rinshin's technique of first posting the photos to Facebook and then copying the Facebook URL link to EYB.  I did this by doing a right click on my mouse on the photo on Facebook and selecting "Copy URL address".  I was then able to paste this address into the EYB box that requests a URL address for a photo.  I did this in the forum section of EYB and I don't think the box for notes has the tool bar to add photos.  Also, the linking function for names of books and recipes worked for me for the first time.  I am using my regular office PC and Google Chrome.  I think I was on Internet Explorer before when I couldn't get the linking to work.

Thanks for sharing that hillsboroks, I will have a go, and post some pictures.  Never thought of that...
