      Really great flavor combo and pretty light! Will definitely make this again

      These are delicious. Makes a great lunch with a salad. The lamb isn't over powered with spice so the flavour really sings. I used home made flat breads rather than pita and I prepared them in a grill pan.

      These are fabulous. I wouldn't call them light -- the fat drips into the pita and the pita becomes a crispy delight. Thinner pitas crisp up better.

  • Citrus-brined pork loin with peach mustard

      The pork is very well flavored and moist. Both the brine and the spice rub add a lot of flavor. The pork is good both warm and cold. The peach mustard mostly tasted like mustard and, if used in anything but small quantities, over powered the pork. I used a half of a 6 lbs. boneless pork loin instead of the bone in.

  • Watermelon, lime, and tequila frozen cocktail

      This is essentially a frozen, watermelon margarita. It has a nice balance between the sweetness and the alcohol. If intending to drink this through a straw, make sure to blend the ice and frozen watermelon enough to fit through the straw.
