Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Curried red lentil and vegetable stew

    • eeeve on October 05, 2015

I like the flavour of this dhal, and it's certainly economical, quick and easy enough to do - but however often I try, I just don't like the texture of mushy lentils!

  • Curried cauliflower

    • eeeve on December 16, 2015

A hearty weeknight dish made with store cupboard staples and an economical head of cauliflower. I didn't have tikka masala paste in but used a generic curry powder, which was fine. Also added 75g of red lentils which were lurking in the cupboard waiting to be used up. The husband liked it a lot, and it wasn't too much effort, either, so will probably make again.
