      These are SOOOOOOOO good! Very similar to a Thin Mint if you like that flavor, though I guess the texture is different - but very fresh!

      My recipe in the 2014 issues calls for semi-sweet. Dark chocolate is better as the cookie is sweet enough for my taste.

      This is also in The Perfect Cookie Cookbook as a variation of cinnamon swirls. The only difference is the addition of brown sugar and an increase in the amount of nuts. We like these cookies very much. Some people finally had to add another 2 tablespoons of cream cheese or heavy cream to make the dough workable, but I need as directed and didn’t have any problems.
