First recipe from this book - good - quick and easy broccoli salad that is not mayo based and sweet. I found that when I heated the sesame oil to smoking and added the pepper flakes they burned. I started over and only warmed the oil before adding the flakes (I reduced to one teaspoon). strained the pepper out of the oil before adding to the broccoli.
