Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Almond biscotti

    • stef on December 15, 2016

This is a very nice recipe. The biscotti sliced beautifully. Next time I have to be a bit more organized used way too many bowls

  • Cream cheese brownies

    • ebalk02 on July 05, 2022

A lot of cooling time and a little fussy for a brownie but well worth it. Extremely fudgy. Best with a glass of cold milk.

  • Chocolate roulade

    • stef on December 25, 2016

This was an easy recipe to make. When making it again I would half the ganache recipe. Also they don't mention dusting the teatowel with cocoa

  • Bee sting cake

    • ebalk02 on February 16, 2025

Aka Bienenstich - Excellent instructions. Always worth checking the viability of your yeast prior to baking and using the oven proof setting if it's cold out. I like to make the dough and filling the night before. A favorite.

  • Foolproof double-crust pie dough

    • stef on November 09, 2016

      My go to pastry

  • Maple syrup pie

    • stef on December 26, 2015

I'm originally from quebec and have tasted many maple pies. This one was one of the best I've had.The filling was creamy but easy to cut and it wasn't too sweet. Thumbs up from everyone. I served it with whip cream. Crust was the vodka one
