      Perfect appetizer for autumn. You can really taste the pumpkin & the hard cider. Easy to make in advance & reheat.

      I undercooked the pasta by 1 min per the package and next time will do 2 min. I had to substitute dried basil for fresh, only had half a fennel bulb, added some chopped fronds for extra flavor, plus added 8 oz sliced mushrooms and 8 oz chopped spinach. Unsurprisingly, it was delicious and my family loved it. Next time I might dice half the mozzarella that gets stirred into the pasta so it's more noticeable.
