Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Swede farls

    • Agaillard on March 28, 2019

I had never made farls before so this was definitely interesting ! The texture was less bready and more potato-ey than I expected, but nice anyway! Nice accompaniment for a good meaty soup :) Will make again!

  • Grilled chicken with charred pineapple salad

    • Agaillard on September 10, 2024

That was pleasant and healthy although i expected more somehow. Also i think that the flavours complement each other quite well and would taste better mixed. The yogurt addition seemed a bit odd. The avocado sauce is definitely original - i didn't have pickled jalapeno and used Asian fermented chilli paste, and i think that was a mistake, I should have gone to the store. I might try the dressing with the proper ingredients.

  • Pomegranate smoothie

    • eeeve on March 27, 2016

I hope this smoothie was healthy, because it certainly wasn't nice! Alright, it wasn't undrinkable, but the tahini made this very earthy and overpowered everything else. Not one to repeat for me.
