The olive chicken and accompanying couscous was a surprise! Very tasty - would definitely make again.

Pork Tenderloin with Honey Mustard Glaze & Caullflower Chickpea Mash: Enjoyed this quick and easy dish- particularly the cauliflower chickpea mash, which was much more than the sum of its parts.

Gratin of Salmon Leeks and Parsnip Purée: Very tasty. A salmon version of Shepherd's Pie, good for a chilly evening.

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Tomato, sausage & spinach soup

    • tlight on January 30, 2022

A good, reliable soup to have in your repertoire. I added a pinch of sugar to offset the tomato and also a splash of balsamic to boost the flavours. Would repeat.

  • Almond-crusted trout & ginger rice pilaf

    • tlight on January 30, 2022

We've repeated this recipe a few times. A nice, crunchy topping for fish. Rather than almond flour we have used almonds ground in the food processor in it's place, leaving them a bit chunky, which adds to the crunchy-ness of the topping. Have made with and without the accompanying ginger rice (it was good, just not a repeat)

International pop star Marilou began her singing career in 2001 when she was only eleven years old. At the age of 16 she developed an eating disorder, and years later she started the blog Trois Fois Par Jour (Three Times a Day) as a way of healing and reconnecting with food. Since its launch in 2013, the blog has gained 400,000 followers.

Alexandre Champagne, Marilou’s husband, has partnered with her on the Trois Fois Par Jour project since its launch in 2013. Using her food as his muse, he creates stunning photographs on earthy, rustic backgrounds.
