Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Smoked beets with pesto, burrata, peach, and dukkah

Although the recipe title mentioned smoked beets the recipe calls for roasted beets. The author provides a comment on this saying that normally she smokes them. So I decided on roasting with some liquid smoke! I also decided to drizzle honey over the roasted beets before serving. This was an enjoyable meal, that I felt got better with each bite. Not amazing enough to make again though.
