Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Cherry crisp

    • Zosia on June 04, 2017

We loved this. The ratio of topping to fruit was as we prefer with lots of fruit and the crisp portion had a wonderful caramel flavour with a bit of chew but most importantly, was crisp and stayed that way even in reheated leftovers. I used the last of my frozen sour cherries so it also wasn't too sweet.

  • Potato chip cookies

    • stef on July 01, 2017

Nice crunchy salty/sweet cookie. My addition 2 teaspoons expresso

  • Green goddess salad dressing

    • inflytur on April 06, 2020

One of the better green goddess recipes I’ve encountered. KAF’s twist is to add in some cream cheese which adds a complementary tang to the sour cream and buttermilk. I made a half recipe with the same amount of tarragon as a full batch which was perfect.

  • Strawberry almond tart

    • inflytur on April 08, 2020

Perfect for quarantine pantry cooking - I replaced the fruit filling with a half pint of blueberry jam I made last summer.

  • Classic buttermilk waffles

    • anya_sf on December 16, 2020

The recipe may have been updated since publication. The online recipe calls for sugar, not malted milk powder.
