      Not my favorite tikka masala. The spices were fine (although I did half the amount of cayenne since 2 tsp seemed like more than I could handle), but the chicken was cooked to death at 6 hours on low.

  • Beef kare raisu from scratch

      Not the prettiest dish, but hearty and delicious on a chilly evening. I added the optional cayenne, corn, and peas for some added vegetables. I would make this again.

  • Spiced cauliflower & potatoes

      I halved the cayenne pepper and it was still spicy. I had this in the slow cooker for 2 hours on high and the potatoes were still crunchy, so I transfered it to the stove top to finish cooking. The flavor was good, but I would further reduce the cayenne or chiles next time.

  • Indonesian braised tofu

      Looked terrible, tasted great. This slow-cooker tofu was so flavorful. Will definitely make again.
