  • Spicy potato and cauliflower burger

      These were tasty and made a nice change but probably not a repeat recipe for us. There are several stages (boiling potatoes, roasting cauliflower, frying toppings) - none are too tricky, but the fussiness would prevent me from making them again. The flavour was good but the whole thing just felt a bit soft, even with the crispy toppings. I found the tamarind on the burger base a bit overpowering so tread carefully.

  • Herby gooseberry focaccia

      Really delicious. The gooseberries act almost like a chutney in providing sweet/sour pops of flavour and the herb and garlic mixture on top seasons everything beautifully. My tray was smaller than specified so the bread needed an extra 5-10mins in the oven.
