  • Grilled courgette and mint tart with tahini cream

      This was a very nice supper. My only quibble is that the courgette is cut so thickly that it needs to be precooked - next time (and there will be a next time) I will slice the courgette thinly enough that it will cook whilst it’s in the oven and save dirtying another pan.

  • Frying-pan peppers and potatoes

      We both liked this. It stands up well as a vegetarian main course, but would also be a great side dish with some meat.

Feast is a Saturday magazine supplement to The Guardian newspaper; it includes food and drink features and recipes, and combines most of The Guardian's food writers under one cover. The magazine encompasses the articles and recipes that formerly appeared in the Weekend magazine, Cook, and in the Thursday G2 are now contained in Feast.
